Publisher

MoneyDocs is published by Silvio Rota, a natural person residing in Switzerland, acting as a non-professional publisher.

In accordance with Swiss law applicable to non-professional publishers (natural persons without commercial activity registered with the Commercial Register), the publisher’s full postal address is not published. It may be disclosed to any competent authority upon legitimate request via the contact address above.

Website hosting

This site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), via the Cloudflare Pages product, which distributes pages from a global CDN. Cloudflare processes no personal data of MoneyDocs application users; it serves only the public site pages (presentation, legal notice, privacy policy, terms of service).

The site source code (Markdown, templates, public assets) is hosted publicly on GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P Kelly Jr Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), where it is versioned. It is then automatically deployed to Cloudflare Pages.

Technical processors of the application

The MoneyDocs Application relies on the following third-party services. For each, the purpose, the nature of the data transmitted and the impact on the user are specified.

Always active (core application services)

  • Supabase, Inc. — 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore. Hosts our technical backend: OCR proxy (transit of receipt images to OCR providers) and anonymous usage logs. No name, email or personal identifier is transmitted; only a random device_id and the data extracted from the receipt (without bank card number) are stored. Detail in article 3 of the privacy policy.

  • Veryfi, Inc. — OCR provider, United States. Receives the resized receipt image through our Supabase backend and returns structured fields (merchant, amount, taxes, etc.). No personal user data transmitted.

  • Google LLC — Document AI — 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. Alternative OCR provider used in addition to Veryfi to improve accuracy. Receives the image through our Supabase backend. No personal user data transmitted.

  • Anthropic, PBC — AI provider for OCR extraction enrichment and validation (“teacher-student”), United States. Receives the text extracted by Veryfi and Google Document AI through our Supabase backend. No image or personal data directly transmitted.

  • ExchangeRate-API — real-time exchange rates. No user data transmitted; only the currency code (“EUR”, “USD”…) is sent to retrieve a public rate.

Activated only if you choose (opt-in)

  • Google LLC — Drive — 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. Activated only if you enable cloud backup from the application settings. Your encrypted backups (AES-256-GCM) are deposited in a visible folder “MoneyDocs - Backups” in your own Google Drive account. The encryption key is derived locally from a password that you choose and keep yourself; it never transits through Google’s servers nor through the Publisher’s. The backup is end-to-end encrypted. The application uses the OAuth scope drive.file which only gives it access to files it has itself created in your Drive. Detail in article 4 of the privacy policy.

No tracking service

The Application uses no analytics SDK, no Firebase, no third-party crash reporting, no advertising framework, no tracker. No usage telemetry is sent to the Publisher or to a third party.

Transfers outside the European Union

Several processors above are established outside the European Union (United States, Singapore). Transfers are governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, for U.S. processors, by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework when they are certified under it.

Intellectual property

The name “MoneyDocs”, its visual identity, its logo and its source code are the property of the publisher. Any reproduction, distribution, modification or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization is prohibited, except under the conditions expressly permitted by the open-source licenses that may apply to certain components.

Third-party trademarks mentioned in the application or on the site (Google Play, Android, Google Drive, Veryfi, Supabase, Anthropic, Cloudflare, etc.) are the property of their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

The publisher strives to ensure the accuracy of information published on this site and the proper functioning of the application. However, the publisher cannot be held liable for errors, omissions or temporary technical unavailabilities.

Use of the application and its data remains the sole responsibility of the user, under the conditions set out in the Terms of Service.

Governing law

This legal notice is governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of Swiss courts.

Prevailing language version

In accordance with the site’s editorial policy, the French version prevails in case of discrepancy between language versions of this notice.
